DANCE MILE
One of the most common questions we receive is "What is the next social fitness fad?" We decided to dig in and find out. What we discovered led to the launch of one of our most exciting events to date - Dance Mile! Part sport, part entertainment, Dance Mile brings thousands of active people together for a mobile party in epic locations around the country.
With a DJ leading the crowd, the sweat-inducing parade makes its way along an unforgettable course and ends at a finish line celebration. By blurring the line between fitness and festival, Dance Mile is forging a new kind of hybrid event that brings the joy of music and movement to a wide and diverse demographic.
After a successful test event in 2013, we helped launch Next Decibel LLC which now owns and operates Dance Mile.
THE BOSTON TRIATHLON
Armed with nothing more than a vision and some maps, we approached the City of Boston and State of Massachusetts with an audacious idea - to create a world-class triathlon along the spectacular South Boston shoreline. After months of meeting with hundreds of stakeholders, we launched the inaugural race in 2008. Since then, the event has grown in stature and reputation, and was acquired by ethos in 2012.
The Boston Triathlon has signed national sponsors like Clif Bar, Lincoln Motors, and Anheuser Busch, and attracts thousands of athletes from around the globe. It has been recognized as a Must-Do race by Men's Health, Men's Journal, Triathlete, Competitor Magazine, The Boston Globe, and The Boston Herald. In 2016, it will expand to Olympic Distance, cementing its place among the top urban triathlons in America.
The RAID Series
In 2009, we saw the initial upsurge in Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) popularity and decided to launch a test event with a twist - instead of making participants drive out to a remote venue, we would bring the race to them. So begin the RAID Series, which combined traditional OCR elements with iconic urban and beach locales.
After proving the concept, we spun off a new company called RAID Events LLC. Today, the RAID Series is in five markets, including Boston and NYC, and is annually featured on NBC's World of Adventure.
